About the unit assessments

What are the assessment items, when are they due, and what are they worth?

The assessment for CITS5501 consists of two quizzes, a group project, and a final examination.

• Quiz 1: available and due in week 4 (worth 7.5%)
• Quiz 2: completed in-class in labs, in week 7 (worth 7.5%)
• Project: a group project with multiple deliverables, completed in weeks 4–12 (worth 35%).
  The phase 1 project brief, listing the deliverables and due dates, is now available on the Blackboard LMS announcements forum, and on Moodle.
• Exam: a face-to-face exam, held during the examinations period (worth 50%).

Your submitted work or answers for any assessment item may be submitted to plagiarism detectors such as JPlag, moss or turnitin to detect plagiarism.
